Luke
Chapter 20
 The Question About David’s Son

41u Then he said to them, “How do they claim that the Messiah is the Son of David?

42For David himself in the Book of Psalms says:v
‘The Lord said to my lord,

“Sit at my right hand

43till I make your enemies your footstool.”’

44Now if David calls him ‘lord,’ how can he be his son?

Luke
Chapter 21
The Coming Persecution

12 “Before all this happens, however, they will seize and persecute you, they will hand you over to the synagogues and to prisons, and they will have you led before kings and governors because of my name.

13It will lead to your giving testimony.

14Remember, you are not to prepare your defense beforehand,

15 for I myself shall give you a wisdom in speaking* that all your adversaries will be powerless to resist or refute.

16 You will even be handed over by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends, and they will put some of you to death.

17You will be hated by all because of my name,

18but not a hair on your head will be destroyed.

19By your perseverance you will secure your lives.

John
Chapter 5

The Work of the Son

19 Jesus answered and said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, a son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees his father doing; for what he does, his son will do also.
20For the Father loves his Son and shows him everything that he himself does, and he will show him greater works than these, so that you may be amazed.l

21For just as the Father raises the dead and gives life,* so also does the Son give life to whomever he wishes.

22Nor does the Father judge anyone, but he has given all judgment* to his Son,

23so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

24Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and will not come to condemnation, but has passed from death to life.

25Amen, amen, I say to you, the hour is coming and is now here when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

26For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he gave to his Son the possession of life in himself.

27And he gave him power to exercise judgment, because he is the Son of Man.
28 Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which all who are in the tombs will hear his voices

29and will come out, those who have done good deeds to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked deeds to the resurrection of condemnation.t

30“I cannot do anything on my own; I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me.

Romans
Chapter 11
God’s Irrevocable Call

25I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not become wise [in] your own estimation: a hardening has come upon Israel in part, until the full number of the Gentiles comes in,

26and thus all Israel will be saved,t as it is written:

“The deliverer will come out of Zion,

he will turn away godlessness from Jacob;

27and this is my covenant with them

when I take away their sins.”

28In respect to the gospel, they are enemies on your account; but in respect to election, they are beloved because of the patriarchs.

29For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.x

2 Thessalonians
Chapter 2
Christ and the Lawless One

1We ask you, brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling with him,

2not to be shaken out of your minds suddenly, or to be alarmed either by a “spirit,” or by an oral statement, or by a letter allegedly from us to the effect that the day of the Lord is at hand.

3Let no one deceive you in any way. For unless the apostasy comes first and the lawless one is revealed, the one doomed to perdition,

4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god and object of worship, so as to seat himself in the temple of God,  claiming that he is a god—

5do you not recall that while I was still with you I told you these things?

6And now you know what is restraining,* that he may be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. But the one who restrains is to do so only for the present, until he is removed from the scene.

8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord [Jesus] will kill with the breath of his mouth and render powerless by the manifestation of his coming,

9the one whose coming springs from the power of Satan in every mighty deed and in signs and wonders that lie,

10and in every wicked deceit for those who are perishing because they have not accepted the love of truth so that they may be saved.

11Therefore, God is sending them a deceiving power so that they may believe the lie,

12that all who have not believed the truth but have approved wrongdoing may be condemned.

13But we ought to give thanks to God for you always, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits* for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in truth.

14To this end he has [also] called you through our gospel to possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours.

16May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting encouragement and good hope through his grace, 17encourage your hearts and strengthen them in every good deed and word.

2 Timothy
Chapter 3

The Dangers of the Last Days

1But understand this: there will be terrifying times in the last days.

2People will be self-centered and lovers of money, proud, haughty, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, irreligious,

3callous, implacable, slanderous, licentious, brutal, hating what is good,

4traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

5as they make a pretense of religion but deny its power. Reject them.

6For some of these slip into homes and make captives of women weighed down by sins, led by various desires,

7always trying to learn but never able to reach a knowledge of the truth.

8Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so they also oppose the truth—people of depraved mind, unqualified in the faith.

9But they will not make further progress, for their foolishness will be plain to all, as it was with those two.

Ephesians
Chapter 4

Renewal in Christ

17So I declare and testify in the Lord that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds;

18darkened in understanding, alienated from the life of God because of their ignorance, because of their hardness of heart,

19they have become callous and have handed themselves over to licentiousness for the practice of every kind of impurity to excess.

20That is not how you learned Christ,

21assuming that you have heard of him and were taught in him, as truth is in Jesus,

22that you should put away the old self of your former way of life, corrupted through deceitful desires,

23and be renewed in the spirit of your minds,r 24and put on* the new self, created in God’s way in righteousness and holiness of truth.

Ephesians
Chapter 5

Duty to Live in the Light

6 Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the disobedient.

7So do not be associated with them.

8For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light,

9for light produces every kind of goodness and righteousness and truth.

10Try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.

11Take no part in the fruitless works of darkness; rather expose them,

12for it is shameful even to mention the things done by them in secret; 13but everything exposed by the light becomes visible,
14for everything that becomes visible is light. Therefore, it says:
“Awake, O sleeper,

and arise from the dead,

and Christ will give you light.

15 Watch carefully then how you live, not as foolish persons but as wise,

16making the most of the opportunity, because the days are evil.

17Therefore, do not continue in ignorance, but try to understand what is the will of the Lord.

18And do not get drunk on wine, in which lies debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

19addressing one another [in] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and playing to the Lord in your hearts,

20giving thanks always and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.p

John
Chapter 2
The Wedding at Cana

1 On the third day there was a wedding in Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.

2Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding.

3When the wine ran short, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.”

4[And] Jesus said to her, “Woman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come.”

5His mother said to the servers, “Do whatever he tells you.

6* Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washings, each holding twenty to thirty gallons.

7Jesus told them, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them to the brim.

8Then he told them, “Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter.”* So they took it.

9And when the headwaiter tasted the water that had become wine, without knowing where it came from (although the servers who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter called the bridegroom

10and said to him, “Everyone serves good wine first, and then when people have drunk freely, an inferior one; but you have kept the good wine until now.”

11Jesus did this as the beginning of his signs* in Cana in Galilee and so revealed his glory, and his disciples began to believe in him.e

12 After this, he and his mother, [his] brothers, and his disciples went down to Capernaum and stayed there only a few days.

PRAISE OF GOD ISRAEL DELIVERER

1For the leader. A song; a psalm.
2Shout joyfully to God, all the earth;
sing of his glorious name;
give him glorious praise.a
3Say to God: “How awesome your deeds!
Before your great strength your enemies cringe.
4All the earth falls in worship before you;b
they sing of you, sing of your name!”

EFESO 4:17-18  5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7
HEBREWS 4:7
"KAPAG NARINING NINYO ANG TINIG NG DIYOS, HUWAG MAGING MATIGAS ANG INYONG ULO."
