TEACHING OF FAITH
SPIRITUAL SALVATION'S
MESSAGE OF GOD

Matthew 6:21

Titus
Chapter 3:1-8
Christian Behavior

1 Remind them to be under the control of magistrates and authorities, to be obedient, to be open to every good enterprise.

2They are to slander no one, to be peaceable, considerate, exercising all graciousness toward everyone.

3For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deluded, slaves to various desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful ourselves and hating one another.
4But when the kindness and generous love
of God our savior appeared,

5not because of any righteous deeds we had done
but because of his mercy,
he saved us through the bath of rebirth
and renewal by the holy Spirit,

6whom he richly poured out on us
through Jesus Christ our savior,

7so that we might be justified by his grace
and become heirs in hope of eternal life.

8This saying is trustworthy.

Ephesians
Chapter 5:1-5
Duty to live in Light

1So be imitators of God, as beloved children,

2and live in love, as Christ loved us and handed himself over for us as a sacrificial offering to God for a fragrant aroma.

3Immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is fitting among holy ones,

4no obscenity or silly or suggestive talk, which is out of place, but instead, thanksgiving.

5Be sure of this, that no immoral or impure or greedy person, that is, an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Hebrews
Chapter 13:1-25
Paglilingkod na nakalulugod sa Diyos
1 Let mutual love continue.

2Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels.

3Be mindful of prisoners as if sharing their imprisonment, and of the ill-treated as of yourselves, for you also are in the body.

4Let marriage be honored among all and the marriage bed be kept undefiled, for God will judge the immoral and adulterers.

5Let your life be free from love of money but be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never forsake you or abandon you.”

6Thus we may say with confidence:
“The Lord is my helper,
[and] I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?”

7Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

9Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teaching. It is good to have our hearts strengthened by grace and not by foods, which do not benefit those who live by them.

10We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.

11The bodies of the animals whose blood the high priest brings into the sanctuary as a sin offering are burned outside the camp.

12Therefore, Jesus also suffered outside the gate, to consecrate the people by his own blood.

13Let us then go to him outside the camp, bearing the reproach that he bore.

14For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the one that is to come.

15Through him [then] let us continually offer God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.

16Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have; God is pleased by sacrifices of that kind.

17 Obey your leaders and defer to them, for they keep watch over you and will have to give an account, that they may fulfill their task with joy and not with sorrow, for that would be of no advantage to you.

18Pray for us, for we are confident that we have a clear conscience, wishing to act rightly in every respect.

19I especially ask for your prayers that I may be restored to you very soon.

20 May the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep by the blood of the eternal covenant, Jesus our Lord,

21furnish you with all that is good, that you may do his will. May he carry out in you what is pleasing to him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever [and ever]. Amen.

22Brothers, I ask you to bear with this message of encouragement, for I have written to you rather briefly.

23I must let you know that our brother Timothy has been set free. If he comes soon, I shall see you together with him.

24Greetings to all your leaders and to all the holy ones. Those from Italy send you greetings.

25Grace be with all of you.

James
Chapter 1:2-11
Perseverance in Trial

2 Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials,

3for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

4And let perseverance be perfect, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

5But if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and he will be given it.

6But he should ask in faith, not doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed about by the wind.

7For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord,

8since he is a man of two minds, unstable in all his ways.

9The brother in lowly circumstances should take pride in his high standing,

10and the rich one in his lowliness, for he will pass away “like the flower of the field.”

11For the sun comes up with its scorching heat and dries up the grass, its flower droops, and the beauty of its appearance vanishes. So will the rich person fade away in the midst of his pursuits.

1 Peter
Chapter 4:12-19
Trial of Persecution

12Beloved, do not be surprised that a trial by fire is occurring among you, as if something strange were happening to you.
13But rejoice to the extent that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed you may also rejoice exultantly.

14If you are insulted for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.

15But let no one among you be made to suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as an intriguer.

16But whoever is made to suffer as a Christian should not be ashamed but glorify God because of the name.

17For it is time for the judgment to begin with the household of God; if it begins with us, how will it end for those who fail to obey the gospel of God?

18“And if the righteous one is barely saved,
where will the godless and the sinner appear?”

19As a result, those who suffer in accord with God’s will hand their souls over to a faithful creator as they do good.

Matthew
Chapter 11:28-30
The Gentle Mastery of Christ

28 “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,* and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves.

30For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.

Mark
Chapter 4:35-41
The Calming of a Storm at Sea

35 On that day, as evening drew on, he said to them, “Let us cross to the other side.”

36Leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat just as he was. And other boats were with him.

37A violent squall came up and waves were breaking over the boat, so that it was already filling up.

38Jesus was in the stern, asleep on a cushion. They woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?”

39He woke up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was great calm.

40Then he asked them, “Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith?”

41 They were filled with great awe and said to one another, “Who then is this whom even wind and sea obey?”

Matthew
Chapter 11
Reproaches to Unrepentant Towns
20 Then he began to reproach the towns where most of his mighty deeds had been done, since they had not repented.

21“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented in sackcloth and ashes.

22But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.

23 And as for you, Capernaum:

‘Will you be exalted to heaven?
You will go down to the netherworld.’
For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

24But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”

Matthew
Chapter 6:19-21
Treasure in Heaven

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal.

20But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal.

21For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.

Psalms 107
Chapter 107:1-32
God the Savior of those in Distress

1 “Give thanks to the LORD for he is good, his mercy endures forever!”

They saw the works of the LORD,
the wonders of God in the deep.

25He commanded and roused a storm wind;
it tossed the waves on high.

26They rose up to the heavens, sank to the depths;
their hearts trembled at the danger.

27They reeled, staggered like drunkards;
their skill was of no avail.

28In their distress they cried to the LORD,
who brought them out of their peril;

29He hushed the storm to silence,
the waves of the sea were stilled.

30They rejoiced that the sea grew calm,
that God brought them to the harbor they longed for.

31Let them thank the LORD for his mercy,
such wondrous deeds for the children of Adam.

32Let them extol him in the assembly of the people,
and praise him in the council of the elders.

Psalms

Chapter 91:1-16
Security Under Gods Protections

1You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shade of the Almighty,

2Say to the LORD, “My refuge and fortress,
my God in whom I trust.”

3He will rescue you from the fowler’s snare,
from the destroying plague,

4He will shelter you with his pinions,
and under his wings you may take refuge;
his faithfulness is a protecting shield.

5You shall not fear the terror of the night
nor the arrow that flies by day,

6Nor the pestilence that roams in darkness,
nor the plague that ravages at noon.

7Though a thousand fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
near you it shall not come.

8You need simply watch;
the punishment of the wicked you will see.

9Because you have the LORD for your refuge
and have made the Most High your stronghold,

10No evil shall befall you,
no affliction come near your tent.

11*For he commands his angels with regard to you,
to guard you wherever you go.

12With their hands they shall support you,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.
13You can tread upon the asp and the viper,
trample the lion and the dragon.

II

14Because he clings to me I will deliver him;
because he knows my name I will set him on high.

15He will call upon me and I will answer;
I will be with him in distress;
I will deliver him and give him honor.

16With length of days I will satisfy him,
and fill him with my saving power.

EFESO 4:17-18  5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7
