SPIRITUAL SALVATION'S
MESSAGE OF GOD
MESSAGE OF GOD

John 3:34

1 Corinthians
Chapter 12:1-11
Unity and Variety

1Now in regard to spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware.

2 You know how, when you were pagans, you were constantly attracted and led away to mute idols.

3Therefore, I tell you that nobody speaking by the spirit of God says, “Jesus be accursed.” And no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the holy Spirit.

4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit;

5there are different forms of service but the same Lord;

6there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone.

7To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit.

8To one is given through the Spirit the expression of wisdom; to another the expression of knowledge according to the same Spirit;

9to another faith by the same Spirit; to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit;

10to another mighty deeds; to another prophecy; to another discernment of spirits; to another varieties of tongues; to another interpretation of tongues.

11But one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing them individually to each person as he wishes.

1 Corinthians
Chapter 16
Exhortation and Greetings

13Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong.

14Your every act should be done with love.

15I urge you, brothers—you know that the household of Stephanas is the firstfruits of Achaia and that they have devoted themselves to the service of the holy ones—

16be subordinate to such people and to everyone who works and toils with them.

17I rejoice in the arrival of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because they made up for your absence,

18for they refreshed my spirit as well as yours. So give recognition to such people.

19 The churches of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Prisca together with the church at their house send you many greetings in the Lord.

20All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

21I, Paul, write you this greeting in my own hand.

22If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Marana tha.

23The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.

24My love to all of you in Christ Jesus.

Galatians
Chapter 5:13-26
Freedom for Service

13For you were called for freedom, brothers. But do not use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh; rather, serve one another through love.

14For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

15But if you go on biting and devouring one another, beware that you are not consumed by one another.

16 I say, then: live by the Spirit and you will certainly not gratify the desire of the flesh.

17For the flesh has desires against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you may not do what you want.

18But if you are guided by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious: immorality, impurity, licentiousness,

20idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, acts of selfishness, dissensions, factions,

21occasions of envy, drinking bouts, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness,
23gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

24Now those who belong to Christ [Jesus] have crucified their flesh with its passions and desires.

25If we live in the Spirit, let us also follow the Spirit.

26Let us not be conceited, provoking one another, envious of one another.

2 Corinthians
Chapter 9:1-15
God’s Indescribable Gift

1Now about the service to the holy ones, it is superfluous for me to write to you,

2for I know your eagerness, about which I boast of you to the Macedonians, that Achaia has been ready since last year; and your zeal has stirred up most of them.

3Nonetheless, I sent the brothers so that our boast about you might not prove empty in this case, so that you might be ready, as I said,

4for fear that if any Macedonians come with me and find you not ready we might be put to shame (to say nothing of you) in this conviction.

5So I thought it necessary to encourage the brothers to go on ahead to you and arrange in advance for your promised gift, so that in this way it might be ready as a bountiful gift and not as an exaction.

6Consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

7Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

8 Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may have an abundance for every good work.

9As it is written:
“He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”

10The one who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

11 You are being enriched in every way for all generosity, which through us produces thanksgiving to God,

12for the administration of this public service is not only supplying the needs of the holy ones but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God.

13Through the evidence of this service, you are glorifying God for your obedient confession of the gospel of Christ and the generosity of your contribution to them and to all others,

14while in prayer on your behalf they long for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you.
15Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

Luke
Chapter 16:1-8
The Parable of the Dishonest Steward

1Then he also said to his disciples, “A rich man had a steward who was reported to him for squandering his property.

2He summoned him and said, ‘What is this I hear about you? Prepare a full account of your stewardship, because you can no longer be my steward.’

3The steward said to himself, ‘What shall I do, now that my master is taking the position of steward away from me? I am not strong enough to dig and I am ashamed to beg.

4I know what I shall do so that, when I am removed from the stewardship, they may welcome me into their homes.’

5He called in his master’s debtors one by one. To the first he said, ‘How much do you owe my master?’

6 He replied, ‘One hundred measures of olive oil.’ He said to him, ‘Here is your promissory note. Sit down and quickly write one for fifty.’

7Then to another he said, ‘And you, how much do you owe?’ He replied, ‘One hundred kors of wheat.’ He said to him, ‘Here is your promissory note; write one for eighty.’

8And the master commended that dishonest steward for acting prudently.

Romans
Chapter 12:3-8

Many Parts in One Body

3 For by the grace given to me I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than one ought to think, but to think soberly, each according to the measure of faith that God has apportioned.

4 For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function,

5so we, though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another.

6 Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us exercise them: if prophecy, in proportion to the faith;

7if ministry, in ministering; if one is a teacher, in teaching;

8if one exhorts, in exhortation; if one contributes, in generosity; if one is over others,* with diligence; if one does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

Romans
Chapter 12:9
Mutual Love

9 Let love be sincere; hate what is evil, hold on to what is good;

John
Chapter 3:3-31-36

The One from Heaven

31The one who comes from above is above all. The one who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of earthly things. But the one who comes from heaven [is above all].

32He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.

33Whoever does accept his testimony certifies that God is trustworthy.

34For the one whom God sent speaks the words of God. He does not ration his gift of the Spirit.

35The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to him

36Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.

Psalms
Chapter 49:1-13
Confidence in God rather than in Riches

1For the leader. A psalm of the Korahites.

2Hear this, all you peoples!
Give ear, all who inhabit the world,

3You of lowly birth or high estate,
rich and poor together.

4My mouth shall speak words of wisdom,
my heart shall offer insights.

5I will turn my ear to a riddle,
expound my question on a lyre.

I

6Why should I fear in evil days,
with the iniquity of my assailants surrounding me,

7Of those who trust in their wealth
and boast of their abundant riches?

8*No man can ransom even a brother,
or pay to God his own ransom.

9The redemption of his soul is costly;
and he will pass away forever.

10Will he live on forever, then,
and never see the Pit of Corruption?

11Indeed, he will see that the wise die,
and the fool will perish together with the senseless,
and they leave their wealth to others.

12Their tombs are their homes forever,
their dwellings through all generations,
“They named countries after themselves”

13—but man does not abide in splendor.
He is like the beasts—they perish.

EFESO 4:17-18  5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7
