TEACHING OF GOSPELTEACHING OF FAITH
SPIRITUAL SALVATION'S
MESSAGE OF GOD

Matthew 21:22

Hebrews
Chapter 8
HEAVENLY PRIESTHOOD OF JESUS

1
1 The main point of what has been said is this: we have such a high priest, who has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,
2
a minister of the sanctuary 2 and of the true tabernacle that the Lord, not man, set up.
3
Now every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; thus the necessity for this one also to have something to offer.
4
If then he were on earth, he would not be a priest, since there are those who offer gifts according to the law.
5
They worship in a copy and shadow of the heavenly sanctuary, as Moses was warned when he was about to erect the tabernacle. For he says, "See that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain."
6
Now he has obtained so much more excellent a ministry as he is mediator of a better covenant, enacted on better promises.
7
3 For if that first covenant had been faultless, no place would have been sought for a second one.
8
But he finds fault with them and says: 4 "Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will conclude a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.
9
It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers the day I took them by the hand to lead them forth from the land of Egypt; for they did not stand by my covenant and I ignored them, says the Lord.
10
But this is the covenant I will establish with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their minds and I will write them upon their hearts. I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
11
And they shall not teach, each one his fellow citizen and kinsman, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for all shall know me, from least to greatest.
12
For I will forgive their evildoing and remember their sins no more."
13
5 When he speaks of a "new" covenant, he declares the first one obsolete. And what has become obsolete and has grown old is close to disappearing.

2 Corinthians
Chapter 3
MINISTERS OF A NEW COVENANT

1
1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you or from you?
2
You are our letter, 2 written on our hearts, known and read by all,
3
3 shown to be a letter of Christ administered by us, written not in ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets that are hearts of flesh.
4
4 Such confidence we have through Christ toward God.
5
Not that of ourselves we are qualified to take credit for anything as coming from us; rather, our qualification comes from God,
6
who has indeed qualified us as ministers of a new covenant, not of letter but of spirit; for the letter brings death, but the Spirit gives life. 5
7
6 7 Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, was so glorious that the Israelites could not look intently at the face of Moses because of its glory that was going to fade,
8
how much more 8 will the ministry of the Spirit be glorious?
9
For if the ministry of condemnation was glorious, the ministry of righteousness will abound much more in glory.
10
Indeed, what was endowed with glory has come to have no glory in this respect because of the glory that surpasses it.
11
For if what was going to fade was glorious, how much more will what endures be glorious.
12
Therefore, since we have such hope, 9 we act very boldly
13
and not like Moses, 10 who put a veil over his face so that the Israelites could not look intently at the cessation of what was fading.
14
Rather, their thoughts were rendered dull, for to this present day 11 the same veil remains unlifted when they read the old covenant, because through Christ it is taken away.
15
To this day, in fact, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their hearts,
16
but whenever a person turns to the Lord the veil is removed.
17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, 12 and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
18
13 All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Ephesians
Chapter 3
COMMISSION TO PREACH GODS PLAN
ST. PAUL SERVICE TO GENTILES

1
1 Because of this, I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ 2 (Jesus) for you Gentiles--
2
if, as I suppose, you have heard of the stewardship 3 of God's grace that was given to me for your benefit,
3
(namely, that) the mystery 4 was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly earlier.
4
When you read this you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,
5
which was not made known to human beings in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit,
6
that the Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and copartners in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
7
Of this I became a minister by the gift of God's grace that was granted me in accord with the exercise of his power.
8
To me, the very least of all the holy ones, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the inscrutable riches of Christ,
9
and to bring to light [for all] 5 what is the plan of the mystery hidden from ages past in God who created all things,
10
so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the principalities and authorities 6 in the heavens.
11
This was according to the eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,
12
in whom we have boldness of speech and confidence of access through faith in him.
13
So I ask you not to lose heart over my afflictions for you; this is your glory.

1 Corinthians
Chapter 12
ONE BODY MANY PARTS

12
4 As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ.
13
For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons, and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.
14
Now the body is not a single part, but many.
15
If a foot should say, "Because I am not a hand I do not belong to the body," it does not for this reason belong any less to the body.
16
Or if an ear should say, "Because I am not an eye I do not belong to the body," it does not for this reason belong any less to the body.
17
If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?
18
But as it is, God placed the parts, each one of them, in the body as he intended.
19
If they were all one part, where would the body be?
20
But as it is, there are many parts, yet one body.
21
The eye cannot say to the hand, "I do not need you," nor again the head to the feet, "I do not need you."
22
Indeed, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are all the more necessary,
23
and those parts of the body that we consider less honorable we surround with greater honor, and our less presentable parts are treated with greater propriety,
24
whereas our more presentable parts do not need this. But God has so constructed the body as to give greater honor to a part that is without it,
25
so that there may be no division in the body, but that the parts may have the same concern for one another.
26
If (one) part suffers, all the parts suffer with it; if one part is honored, all the parts share its joy.
27
5 Now you are Christ's body, and individually parts of it.
28
Some people God has designated in the church to be, first, apostles; 6 second, prophets; third, teachers; then, mighty deeds; then, gifts of healing, assistance, administration, and varieties of tongues.
29
Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work mighty deeds?
30
Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?
31
Strive eagerly for the greatest spiritual gifts. But I shall show you a still more excellent way.

Romans
Chapter 12
CHRISTIAN LIFE

1
1 2 I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, your spiritual worship.
2
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.
3
For by the grace given to me I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than one ought to think, but to think soberly, each according to the measure of faith that God has apportioned.
4
For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function,
5
so we, though many, are one body in Christ 3 and individually parts of one another.
6
Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us exercise them: 4 if prophecy, in proportion to the faith;
7
if ministry, in ministering; if one is a teacher, in teaching;
8
if one exhorts, in exhortation; if one contributes, in generosity; if one is over others, 5 with diligence; if one does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
9
Let love be sincere; hate what is evil, hold on to what is good;
10
love one another with mutual affection; anticipate one another in showing honor.
11
Do not grow slack in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
12
Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer.
13
Contribute to the needs of the holy ones, exercise hospitality.
14
6 Bless those who persecute (you), bless and do not curse them.
15
Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.
16
Have the same regard for one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly; do not be wise in your own estimation.
17
Do not repay anyone evil for evil; be concerned for what is noble in the sight of all.
18
If possible, on your part, live at peace with all.
19
Beloved, do not look for revenge but leave room for the wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord."
20
Rather, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head."
21
Do not be conquered by evil but conquer evil with good.

Titus
Chapter 3
TRANSFORMATION OF LIFE
THE BEHAVIOR OF CHRISTIAN

1
1 2 Remind them to be under the control of magistrates and authorities, to be obedient, to be open to every good enterprise.
2
They are to slander no one, to be peaceable, considerate, exercising all graciousness toward everyone.
3
For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deluded, slaves to various desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful ourselves and hating one another.
4
But when the kindness and generous love of God our savior appeared,
5
not because of any righteous deeds we had done but because of his mercy, he saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the holy Spirit,
6
whom he richly poured out on us through Jesus Christ our savior,
7
so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life.
8
This saying is trustworthy. 3 I want you to insist on these points, that those who have believed in God be careful to devote themselves to good works; these are excellent and beneficial to others.
9
4 Avoid foolish arguments, genealogies, rivalries, and quarrels about the law, for they are useless and futile.
10
After a first and second warning, break off contact with a heretic,
11
realizing that such a person is perverted and sinful and stands self-condemned.

Romans
Chapter 13
OBEDIENCE TO AUTHORITY
LOVE FULFILLS THE LAW
DUTY TOWARDS OTHERS

1
1 Let every person be subordinate to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been established by God.
2
Therefore, whoever resists authority opposes what God has appointed, and those who oppose it will bring judgment upon themselves.
3
For rulers are not a cause of fear to good conduct, but to evil. Do you wish to have no fear of authority? Then do what is good and you will receive approval from it,
4
for it is a servant of God for your good. But if you do evil, be afraid, for it does not bear the sword without purpose; it is the servant of God to inflict wrath on the evildoer.
5
Therefore, it is necessary to be subject not only because of the wrath but also because of conscience.
6
This is why you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
7
Pay to all their dues, taxes to whom taxes are due, toll to whom toll is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.
8
2 Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
9
The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery; you shall not kill; you shall not steal; you shall not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this saying, (namely) "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
10
Love does no evil to the neighbor; hence, love is the fulfillment of the law.
11
3 And do this because you know the time; it is the hour now for you to awake from sleep. For our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed;
12
the night is advanced, the day is at hand. Let us then throw off the works of darkness (and) put on the armor of light;
13
let us conduct ourselves properly as in the day, 4 not in orgies and drunkenness, not in promiscuity and licentiousness, not in rivalry and jealousy.
14
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh.

Romans
Chapter 14
TO LIVE AND DIE FOR CHRIST
DO NOT PUNISH OTHERS

1
1 Welcome anyone who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.
2
One person believes that one may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables.
3
The one who eats must not despise the one who abstains, and the one who abstains must not pass judgment on the one who eats; for God has welcomed him.
4
Who are you to pass judgment on someone else's servant? Before his own master he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
5
(For) one person considers one day more important than another, while another person considers all days alike. Let everyone be fully persuaded in his own mind. 2
6
Whoever observes the day, observes it for the Lord. Also whoever eats, eats for the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; while whoever abstains, abstains for the Lord and gives thanks to God.
7
None of us lives for oneself, and no one dies for oneself.
8
For if we live, we live for the Lord, 3 and if we die, we die for the Lord; so then, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's.
9
For this is why Christ died and came to life, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.
10
Why then do you judge your brother? Or you, why do you look down on your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God;
11
for it is written: "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bend before me, and every tongue shall give praise to God."
12
So (then) each of us shall give an account of himself (to God).

Matthew
Chapter 21
THE CURSING OF THE FIG TREE

18
16 When he was going back to the city in the morning, he was hungry.
19
Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went over to it, but found nothing on it except leaves. And he said to it, "May no fruit ever come from you again." And immediately the fig tree withered.
20
When the disciples saw this, they were amazed and said, "How was it that the fig tree withered immediately?"
21
17 Jesus said to them in reply, "Amen, I say to you, if you have faith and do not waver, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' it will be done.
22
Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive."

EFESO 4:17-18  5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7
